Ballet is the foundation of all dance. As such, it is highly recommended that every student, whether recreational or competitive, take a ballet class. Ballet classes are available to all ages. Proper placement and technique are explored through barre, center, allegro, and adagio work. Pointe work is available to students ages 11 and up with teacher approval. Ballet technique classes are available to all students who wish to intensify study and improve technique.

Jazz - Students will explore the many different styles of jazz, including Broadway, Fosse, Theater, and Video Dance. Stylized leaps, turns, and walks are all learned through warm-ups, progressions, and center work. Jump and Turn (technique) classes are also available to augment a dancer's technical skills. 

Lyrical dance tells a story while utilizing ballet and jazz technique. This class  is available to students ages 10 and up. Some ballet and jazz experience required. 

Modern Dance is a style of theatrical dance that rejects the limitations of classical ballet and favors movement derived from the expression of feelings. Modern dance finds new ways of using music and sound in relation to movement.

Contemporary dance is a fusion of ballet, modern, lyric and jazz techniques, changing the face of lyrical dance. Different planes and highly athletic movement and body positions are explored. This class is available to students ages 10 and up. Some dance experience required. 

Tap is the most rhythmic of all dance forms. Dancers will learn flaps, Cincinnati, time step, and of course, buffalo! Available to students at all levels. 

Hip Hop - Students of all ages seem to love our "LA" style hip hop classes. If you've seen it in a video, you might just see it here! All bases are covered - Poppin', Breakin', Footwork, Fluidity, Street, etc.

Dance Classes for boys and girls with physical, emotional, or developmental challenges are specifically designed to meet the needs of students with music, rhythm, dance movement, and exercise designed to facilitate participation in class. Dance Factory restrooms, lobby and classrooms are wheelchair accessible.
